NICE: This state-funded project lays the foundation for creating more equitable Cybersecurity education programs in Oregon high schools and postsecondary institutions.
Summer Camp: Another outreach program is a week-long Cybersecurity Summer Camp to provide high school students with hands-on experience in areas like ethical hacking, cryptography, and cyber defense. These instructor-led camps are funded by the National Security Agency (NSA) and are offered at no cost to students. Camp programs are designed to spark interest and give students the tools they need to pursue a future in the field.
Student Academy of Inspired Learning (SAIL): We offer a week-long session in UO’s Student Academy of Inspired Learning (SAIL) program that targets rising high school juniors and rising seniors from low-income Oregon families.
