- Graduate Certificate (Fall 2026): This certificate is perfect for professionals looking to expand their cybersecurity knowledge and skills. The program is designed for individuals with an existing background in IT or related fields who want to specialize in security. Key Features of Our Programs
- Comprehensive and Balanced Coverage of Cybersecurity: The program is deeply rooted in computer science and offers core and depth courses in cybersecurity. Students will learn essential knowledge and up-to-date techniques in cybersecurity, including those in the areas of fundamental security concepts and principles, applied cryptography, and systems and network security.
- Experiential Learning: The program places a significant emphasis on experiential learning by offering students many opportunities to gain extensive experience in UO’s teaching Security Operation Center (TSoC), RISK Clinic, paid internship or co-op within the network of our industry partners, and participation in a capstone or research project.
- NSA Guidelines and Outcomes: The curriculums of these programs adhere to National Security Agency (NSA) guidelines and learning outcomes of knowledge units in cybersecurity, ensuring that graduates possess a robust skill set and knowledge base aligned with the field’s latest advancements.
